The Mission of QPAC is to work towards the best
education for all students within the Quincy Public Schools. As part of
an effort to fulfill this mission, we have adopted two Goals for the
2011 - 2010 school year:
A. Increase Participation in QPAC
- Increase the visibility of QPAC in the schools and community.
- Improve communication between QPAC and members.
- Improve the services provided through the Resource Center.
B. Advise the
district on special education policies, procedures, and programs
- Evaluate information provided to substitutes regarding students with disabilities.
- Review QPS transition-related procedures.
- Develop a parent's guide to special education in Quincy.
