| About the Resource Center |
Are
you a parent, teacher, or other individual with questions about the
special education process? Do you need disability-related information,
assistance, resources, or referrals? Come to the QPAC Resource Center.
We can help you find what you need! Our Resource Center volunteers can help you:
- Locate
information about the special education process, parents rights within
the process, and working collaboratively throughout the process. We
maintain a list of over a thousand resources related to special
education.
- Identify
professionals and organizations that specialize in the medical,
therapeutic, recreational and other needs of children with
disabilities. We have information on hundreds of local, state-wide, and
national organizations that serve children with disabilities and their families.
- Browse our growing collection of books, guides, videos, and other resource materials!.*
Can't make it in to the Resource Center? Contact us! QPAC Executive Board Members are always happy to answer your questions about QPAC and special education!
* QPAC is seeking donations for our resource library. If you have gently used books, dvds, computer software, or other items related to special education or disabilities, you can bring it by the Resource Center any time it is open or contact Jill Gichuhi, QPAC President to set up other arrangements!
