QPAC
- the Quincy Parent Advisory Council to Special Education - is a
formally organized group of parents and other interested persons
committed to the best possible services for children with special
needs. Established
in 1977, QPAC functions under state special education laws and
regulations [M.G.L. Ch. 71B, Sec. 3; 603 C.M.R. 28.07(4)].
QPAC
meets monthly, and provides information, insights, techniques and
encouragement through informal discussions and special presentations.
QPAC also meets regularly with the Quincy School Committee and Quincy
Public Schools administration to evaluate and review special education
programs, policies, and procedures.
QPAC
is a member of MassPAC, a statewide network of special education parent
advisory councils, parents, and professionals working together for
children with special needs.
QPAC
is a member of the Quincy Drug Task Force, a multi-disciplinary
collaboration designed to promote community awareness, education,
prevention and treatment of substance abuse in the City of Quincy

QPAC is simple, just attend a meeting! We have general meetings and
workshops scheduled throughout the year. We are also working on
