Are
you struggling to raise a child with behavior issues? Do you spent your
nights worried about tomorrow’s behaviors or dread the next call from
the school? You are not alone. Join other parents with similar concerns
for Come to Think of It, a parent-to-parent information and support
group for
those raising children with challenging behaviors.
Challenging behavior has traditionally
been thought of as willful and goal oriented, which has led to
approaches that focus on motivating better behavior using reward and
punishment programs. If you have tried these strategies and they have not worked, this group is for you! Come To Think Of It utilizes strategies aligned with the Collaborative Problem Solving Approach, which provides a new way of understanding and helping kids who struggle
with behavioral challenges.
Come To Think Of It Meeting dates for the 2011 - 2012 school
year:
- Tuesday, February 28, 2012
- Tuesday, March 20, 2012
